#PureStone, an exclusive private club originating from China, presented its thangka series “Love and Peace · The Path of Dreams” at the Cultural Diversity Festival of #UNESCO and #ParisCityHall with its agency #S2SGroup inside the Church of Notre-Dame des Blancs-Manteaux, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris— receiving remarkable acclaim.
The Festival of Cultural Diversity, launched in 2008, celebrates UNESCO’s “World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development,” which takes place on May 21, in Paris and around the world. Spanning several weeks, the Festival encompasses a range of musical, artistic, and intellectual activities aimed at celebrating global cultural diversity, while highlighting the importance of intercultural dialogue as a fundamental pillar of peace.

Six Thangka paintings are on display, offering a clear vision of the Bodhisattva Manjushri, the Great Gesture Bodhisattva, Green Tara (accompanied by the Twenty-One Taras), White Tara, and the Great Vajrapani — all from the collection of Madame Chiu Tresor of Pure Stone Global, commissioner of this exhibition.
Thangka is a unique form of pictorial art within Tibetan culture, believed to transmit and radiate spiritual energy to humanity. With distinctive ethnic characteristics and a singular artistic style, it represents the world of the sacred Buddha through vibrant colors. Traditionally, the pigments are made from precious mineral gems such as gold, silver, pearl, agate, coral, turquoise, malachite, cinnabar, as well as plants like saffron, rhubarb, and indigo, emphasizing the sacred nature of the art.

Thangka Mañjuśrī – The Bodhisattva of Wisdom
Whose name means “Gentle Glory,” he embodies transcendent wisdom in Mahayana Buddhism.
Traditional Thangka painting is demanding: the process is extremely complex and must be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the masters and gurus as prescribed in the sacred texts. The steps include the pre-painting ritual, canvas preparation, composition drawing, coloring, contour outlining, silver application, eye-opening ceremony, sewing, and consecration.
The creation of a Thangka can take over ten years for the most elaborate works, while the shortest require at least six months of dedicated work.

The inaugural exhibition featured around a dozen musical performances by seven Franco-Chinese artists. Chow Ching Ling and the Chinese Orchestra of the Teochew Association of France; Chen Qingnian on erhu and Geng Daisangmu on piano performed two well-known Chinese pieces: “The Moon Represents My Heart” and “Horse Race.” Percussionist Thierry Miroglio offered an interpretation of a composition by Alain Kremski entitled “Celestial Resonance.” Today, building on this recognition, #PureStone is deploying its vision of Eastern spiritual aesthetics in Europe.

A Collector’s Masterpiece – Club & Exhibition
*24-Karat Gold Masterwork – Jambhala Mantra and Heart Sūtra*
This calligraphic artwork, entirely executed in 24-karat gold, combines the mantra of the Yellow Jambhala (God of Wealth) with the Heart Sūtra (Prajñāpāramitā Hṛdaya Sūtra). The circular mandala composition symbolizes perfection and the unity of the phenomenal world. At the center, the Jambhala mantra evokes the spiritual and material resources necessary for practice, arising from a pure intention. Surrounding it, the Heart Sūtra unfolds the wisdom of emptiness, reminding us that true wealth rests on right view. The golden characters, finely arranged against a dark background, bear witness to meticulous and meditative craftsmanship. The ensemble illustrates the union of merit and wisdom – the heart of the Tibetan Buddhist path. A work of profound spirituality, serving both as a support for practice and an object of contemplation.
