On September 12, 2018, the “Tourism + Technology (AI) Forum” took place at the Chinese Cultural Centre in Paris. S2S Group took part in the promotion, organization and registration of registrants of this Forum initiated by iFLYTECH.
According to a recent report by the Chinese Academy of Tourism, more than 6 million Chinese nationals travelled to Europe in 2017. Over the next 4 years, this figure could increase by an average of 7.5% per year.
iFLYTEK, a Chinese firm specialising in intelligent linguistic technologies based on speech synthesis and voice recognition, intends to play an active role in strengthening cooperation between States and companies by facilitating dialogue between them.
Among its innovations, iFLYTEK has developed a portable device, allowing translation from Chinese into other languages, in audio or text mode in real time. This technology can be used for exchanges between Chinese and European government organisations and tourism companies. It is also proving to be a very effective tool for Chinese travellers, enabling them to overcome language barriers and improve their interaction with the local environment during their stays abroad.
