ICI is the meeting point between Artificial Intelligence and connected beauty, the putting into orbit of two cutting-edge technologies. The S2S Group agency made a photo shoot for the brand and invited it to participate in the Paris Asian Art Fair – Asia Now.
In collaboration with costume designer Sophie Hong, Paul Chen, the founder of the brand ICI presented his brand concept and shared his product ideas at a groundbreaking conference. It was also the occasion to unveil the creation process of his intelligent scanner, a high-tech product revolutionizing the world of cosmetics!
The genesis of a high-tech brand
Fascinated by space since early childhood, Paul Chen, founder of the ICI brand, founded the ICI (I check, I see) Laboratory and began working, in a manner analogous to NASA studies, on skin changes, convinced that “when the space age becomes a reality, the greatest challenge will undoubtedly be skin health. “His goal: to revolutionize the world of cosmetics by analyzing the skin and reinventing skin care, to create a concept of “Dynamic Skincare”.
The intelligent scanner – The high-precision device
This miniature tool has been designed to accurately analyze skin and subcutaneous tissue. It is equipped with DOT technology, Diffuse Optical Tomography. Using light beams, it studies how skin and cells reflect light to detect what is invisible on the surface. Simply place the tip on each cheek, then on the forehead and in 30 seconds it’s done! The data is then transmitted to the smartphone application HERE, available on Android and IOS. Thanks to artificial intelligence, algorithms analyze the immediate state of the skin and calculate its personalized “skin score” for the day. They check, in real time, what the skin needs in order to provide the best care.
