BYD officially entered the Swiss market on April 2, marking its European expansion with the grand opening of its first Harmony Store on Zurich’s prestigious Bahnhofstrasse district. The launch event attracted considerable local media and public interest, showcasing BYD as a global leader in electric vehicle technology.

Three Flagship Models Introduced
BYD unveiled three key models for the Swiss market: SEAL (sedan, BEV), SEALION 7 (SUV, BEV), and SEAL U DM-i (SUV, plug-in hybrid). BYD Executive Vice President Stella Li highlighted technological innovation as BYD’s core strength and driver of its sustainable growth in Europe.

The Harmony BYD Zurich Store, strategically situated in the Bahnhofstrasse district—renowned globally for luxury retail—boasts a high-standard, sophisticated design. Bahnhofstrasse stretches approximately 1.4 kilometers from Zurich Central Station to Lake Zurich, surrounded by luxury boutiques, prominent banking headquarters, and high-end business hubs, symbolizing Zurich’s blend of luxury, culture, and financial prowess.
